 SIGHT-PIPES® FOR TUBE WELD INSPECTION - used for visually inspecting the internal weld area produced by the orbital welding process - available from stock.

MACHINE VISION / SENSOR ATTACHMENTS -are SIGHT-PIPE® products and demonstration kits which are designed to adapt to the latest sensor, machine vision, and  imaging technology systems to inspect internal "difficult to access" areas. These systems enable the use of the latest and greatest in automated inspection software and hardware imaging technology. 

360 DEGREE SIGHT-PIPES FOR TUBE WELD INSPECTION -   used for visually inspecting a COMPLETE annular band (360 degrees of the inside diameter) internal weld area in one view. It is not necessary to rotate the SIGHT-PIPE or the tube/ piece part.

REGULAR SERIES SIGHT-PIPES- Regular Series SIGHT-PIPES® are used to visually inspect a specific segment of the sidewall of a machined bore.  Both styles are available from stock.

360° View SERIES SIGHT-PIPES®- 360° Series SIGHT-PIPES® are used to visually inspect a complete annular band of the sidewall of a machined bore.

BOREVIEW ™- incorporates a magnifying lens system, fiber optic illumination and custom SIGHT-PIPE® to visually inspect and/or gage internal characteristics with greater detail.

CCTV- Closed Circuit Television systems are used with SIGHT-PIPE® systems to place an internal image from a SIGHT-PIPE® onto a larger video monitor for viewing by a group of people or a machine vision/sensor system.

ACCESSORIES-are used with SIGHT-PIPES® to further improve their performance and use in a variety of piece part applications and conditions. You can learn more about our illumination accessories and options here.

SIGHT-PIPE® DEPTH GAGE - used to optically inspect depth dimensions in machined bores or cavities - both custom and stocked styles available.

CUSTOM ENGINE GAGES - Landcheck Gages are used to visually inspect critical characteristics on intake and exhaust valve seats -

Crosshatch Gages are used to visually inspect hone pattern angles in cylinder liners -

Porosity Checks are used to visually inspect and/or gage porosity in machined bores.

MODULAR INSPECTION STANDS - Style of inspection stands available range from simple SIGHT-PIPE® and Boreview™ holding fixtures to precision Optical Height stand measuring devices utilizing digital readouts for measured movement and closed circuit television. These modular stands also serve as the base for precision positioning systems used in vision systems.

LOCATOR/COMPARATOR GAGES- are used to check the location or position of a characteristic (channel hole, cross hole, etc.) as it intersects and "breaks out" into another bore. These gages use a special reticle and a diamond or round locating pin to position the reticle in the proper radial & vertical position to check the feature to within limits.
