OOOOppps--------- accidents happen and they can be your gain.

From time to time we have an item that is slightly damaged or used which we will sell as a "scratch & dent" item. Some of these have been slightly used in our shop here, while others are simply shop or handling mishaps. Typically these items are 100% functional and offer a "good as new" image but have been scratched or damaged only in a cosmetic way or in an area that will not effect the view or lighting  through the product or the required fit into the bore to be inspected unless otherwise noted. They will also be shipped with the proper original shipping/storage box/tube unless otherwise noted.

An example may be a slight scratch on the SIDE or bottom of the SIGHT-PIPE® head or shank. In the event that the defect will effect an accessory item ---we will list the item as such (i.e. scratch in "v"   groove of head may effect light transmission if used with an illumination collar).
