There are a number of ways the unique internal images from a SIGHT-PIPE® can be transmitted to a monitor or vision processing system for simple viewing, archival/ recording, or multiple measurement and inspection routines. The method, form, and sophistication of the SIGHT-PIPE® system assembly depends on the detail of the customer's inspection process and gaging requirements.

Very simple handheld CCTV devices can be used to:

  • ease, speed and improve training of inspectors

  • alleviate eye strain 

  • speed inspection process times

  • provide an image record of good or bad parts

  • allow for group discussion and analysis of parts

  • serve as the basis for developing a uniform defect recognition, detection, and sorting system among all inspectors at multiple locations during different shifts

  • provide the initial stepping stone to move to more advanced image analysis and measurement software and hardware

The quickest way to add a  CCTV monitor to your internal inspection process is through the use of either the  Custom CCTV/Sensor system, SIGHT-PIPE® Vision Assembly SP-MV or Boreview™ system.  Our recently addition of proprietary lens design software speeds the process of developing and producing customized SIGHT-PIPE® CCTV or machine vision/sensor applications economically. This new design system maximizes the image and field of view for your particular SIGHT-PIPE® and part characteristic in an easily adaptable housing that incorporates illumination and a variety of CCTV cameras or machine vision assemblies.
